What on earth are we up to up here?
Miranda- This summer is a little more laid back than last years cross
country tour she had. She will be doing a few gigs with me on the weekends and the rest of the summer is for her to hang out
with her friends, swim and ice skate. Yes, we ice skate up here in the summer. The new thing the girls fight over is
splitting wood for our campfires. MIranda and Sienna are both very good at it.
Sienna- Sienna has been put in charge of my Dads exersize regimine.
Every day at 9 she wakes him up and they go to the club to swim and play basketball. Sienna and Grandpa Steve do alot
together......she works real hard with him around the yard and house. This year she is helping me with my business and
does glitter tattoos. She gets people of all ages in her line. She is really liking making so much money!
Olivia- Poor Livvy. Her summer started with getting expanders put
in her mouth and now she has her headgear too. In a few more weeks the braces come on. Her favorite thing is to
play in the hammock and play in the fire pit with sticks. For her birthday she got a big inflatable waterslide.
All the girls love it but Olivia likes the water guns attached to it.
Jilly- Jilly is excited to play at the pool all summer. She likes
to check the flowers and tomatoes every day to see how they are doing. She is in charge of "pinching back" the flower buds
whten they start to wilt.
Greg- As some of you know, Greg lost his father this spring to complications
from cancer. Greg spent much of March in CA while his father was ill and he died at the end of that month. We
just got back from his memorial services in AZ, so the grieving process is still fresh and new. One of the things that seems
to help is coaching baseball. He is also playing on a Canadian team now and is doing great. It was so exciting
to watch him pitch again.
Me- My business keeps me busy this time of year. I am booked....very
booked for some time now. Things could really not be going any better. Other than I have a bad back and water
on my knee from painting for long hours. I can't believe what a toll it is taking on my body. I will not book
myself as heavy anymore...but I have a long next 3 months before I can take a breather. In August I will be painting
on another Royal Caribbean Cruise. This time Greg is coming with me.....I can't wait!
UMA and FRANKIE- Uma has a dog show coming up in the fall...so I need
to work with her alot! She is 70 lbs at her 8 month check up.....she should be a big girl.......Frankie is good as ever...He
and Uma have a terrific relationship....
Bumper the bunny is a bit sad...she lives on the 3rd floor with Miranda
and does not get enough attention. We hope to fix that soon
